Wix’s branded app is a subscription service built on Wix’s own native app framework. Our WebView apps wrap your live site, come with the full Xcode and Android Studio source code and have a one-time setup fee. Which is better depends on whether you want Wix-native features or ownership and flexibility.
Yes. Email and password login works inside the WebView and the session persists between launches. Social logins via Google require a specific configuration because Google blocks plain embedded web views, so tell us if you enabled them in Wix.
Yes. Stores, Bookings, Events and Restaurants work exactly as on the mobile web, including checkout with the payment providers configured in Wix. Apple’s in-app purchase rules apply only to digital content consumed inside the app, which we help you assess.
