Yes. Students sign in with their Teachable account, and sessions persist in the app like in a mobile browser, so they land in their course library on the next launch. Social login providers that restrict embedded browsers may need a check, which we do during setup.
Courses are digital content, so Apple’s in-app purchase rules may apply when selling inside the app. Many creators keep checkout on their Teachable sales pages and use the app for enrolled students to log in and learn. We discuss the right approach for your school before building.
Teachable’s own mobile app is a generic app shared by all schools, not a branded listing under your name. A WebView app gives you your own icon, name and store listing, OneSignal push notifications you control, and full source code, while still showing your live Teachable school.
Converting one platform (iOS or Android) is a one-time fee of $698; the iOS + Android bundle costs $1,158 (you save $238). The optional App Publishing Service is $318 per platform. Payment is handled securely by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Prices exclude VAT.
